Ibiza

In September I went on a trip that I can safely say I will never forget (and neither will my bank balance). I went to the fabulous Ibiza. 

I went with certain expectations which I can assure you where matched to perfection. Sunshine (sometimes), a beautiful town, lots of drinking, ridiculously expensive clubs, women dressed in nothing more than a shoelace, late nights (or I should say early mornings – they all sort of merge into one) and lazy days. I loved Ibiza. The clubbing was great of course, but the town and the culture was actually just as good. Latitude Festival

Latitude Festival was one that I had heard such good things about but never actually been to. Deep in the Suffolk countryside, Latitude prides itself on being voted the UK’s best major festival of 2017 and combines music, film, theatre, dance and much much more to create an atmosphere like no other.

Hogsozzle

Over the May bank holiday, I kicked off the festival season with a bang (plus a lot of glitter and paint) and went to the fabulous Hogsozzle!

Hogsozzle is an intimate, smaller scale festival but what it lacks in attendee numbers it makes up for in personality, individuality, and creativity. This 3-day festival, nestled in the Hertfordshire countryside was amazing. There were sequins, feathers, fur, fancy dress and enough paint to rival a Dulux warehouse – it all made for a fantastic festival.

Recipe: Salad on-the-go

Festivals are a foodie’s paradise! I have been to festivals and always made the effort to try new food, but with the vast choice of food on offer, it’s hard to know what to go for. Not to mention, that forking out (no pun intended) on food every day can cost an absolute fortune. This very simple and healthy recipe is a go-to for me when I am preparing my food to take to a festival.
