I have been privileged enough to travel to some incredible places around the world and this is a post to show off my travelling repertoire. Plus, I felt this was an easy way for you to read about the destinations you want to know more about. But don’t worry, if somewhere isn’t linked it’s most likely on its way and if it is, click, read and explore…
Last year Joss and I managed to get our hands on a second hand, 5-berth, Sprite Major caravan and since then have spent our weekends trying to get it ready for its first outing in a few weeks.
Over the May bank holiday, I kicked off the festival season with a bang (plus a lot of glitter and paint) and went to the fabulous Hogsozzle!
Hogsozzle is an intimate, smaller scale festival but what it lacks in attendee numbers it makes up for in personality, individuality, and creativity. This 3-day festival, nestled in the Hertfordshire countryside was amazing. There were sequins, feathers, fur, fancy dress and enough paint to rival a Dulux warehouse – it all made for a fantastic festival.
What do I need to take to a festival?
This is one of the most common questions I get asked by everyone thinking of going to a festival. Although what I take differs from festival to festival, for the most part, it remains the same. Here is my comprehensive list of what to pack for a festival so that you are ready to hit the festival fields this summer.
Festivals are a foodie’s paradise! I have been to festivals and always made the effort to try new food, but with the vast choice of food on offer, it’s hard to know what to go for. Not to mention, that forking out (no pun intended) on food every day can cost an absolute fortune. This very simple and healthy recipe is a go-to for me when I am preparing my food to take to a festival.
For all those that didn’t jet off to Coachella the other weekend, myself included (and yes I have major FOMO) I have compiled all my favourite looks and outfits from Coachella this year. Plus, I have even given you tips where you too can ‘shop the look’ on a much more modest budget!
With festival season around the corner, I thought my next post should be a festival FAQ which can answer a handful of questions I get asked either at or leading up to a festival.
I remember the lead up to my first festival, I had no clue what I was doing. I googled about a million things, watched tons of videos on YouTube and trawled through blogs to find out the answers to what I thought were probably very obvious questions.
I wanted to give you as many answers as I could all in one place, as well as provide a platform where you could ask me questions, no matter how obvious you think they might be. So, let me hold your hand and help you prepare as you take the plunge to booking your first, third or hundredth festival so you can have an easier, more fun and worry-free festival experience!
