For all those that didn’t jet off to Coachella the other weekend, myself included (and yes I have major FOMO) I have compiled all my favourite looks and outfits from Coachella this year. Plus, I have even given you tips where you too can ‘shop the look’ on a much more modest budget!
With festival season around the corner, I thought my next post should be a festival FAQ which can answer a handful of questions I get asked either at or leading up to a festival.
I remember the lead up to my first festival, I had no clue what I was doing. I googled about a million things, watched tons of videos on YouTube and trawled through blogs to find out the answers to what I thought were probably very obvious questions.
I wanted to give you as many answers as I could all in one place, as well as provide a platform where you could ask me questions, no matter how obvious you think they might be. So, let me hold your hand and help you prepare as you take the plunge to booking your first, third or hundredth festival so you can have an easier, more fun and worry-free festival experience!
Festivals are a mecca for the bold and the beautiful when it comes to makeup. So you have planned all your outfits for the weekend, next thing is makeup… what do you take with you? How can you make it last all day? How can you get that ‘I haven’t even tried’ look or how much glitter can I really get away with? My festival makeup routine is both easy and inexpensive, so have a read and enjoy!
Bournemouth 7’s is the largest sport and music festival in the world and is a mash-up of sport, cider, music and sometimes sunshine which takes place every May bank holiday weekend in Christchurch, Bournemouth.
If you want an excuse to watch (mostly) good quality rugby, enjoy a drink … or two … or three, dance until the early hours of the morning, play some social sport and enjoy the bank holiday with your fellow students in beautiful Bournemouth, then this is your place!
Although I have been to my fair share of festivals around the world, there are still loads I am yet to experience. I have put together my bucket list of the festivals I have yet to go to but can’t wait to visit.
Having never been to Ireland before I was so excited to finally be going to the Emerald Isle. Dublin was everything I had hoped it would be. Cobbled streets, gorgeous architecture, friendly people, delicious food and drink, and of course loads to do and see. I only spent 3 days there so crammed as much as I could into my little weekend away.
